Casey Newton wishes the world could be different. She's tired of the doom and gloom she hears about in school and in the media. She wishes more people shared her interest in space exploration and that the nearby space station wasn't about to shut down. She even sneaks onto a massive shuttle platform each night, hoping to keep it from closing for a little bit longer. But then Casey comes to possess a mysterious pin, one that transports her to a beautiful futuristic city.
