After a short hiatus Diamonds And Pearls is back with another stunning release by the mysterious EAT. ?Rapture? takes you on a twisted disco journey which slowly but surely turns into a grinding acidic trip. On the b-side he heads for headier tropes, dismissing the 4×4 template for a mesmerizing and moody percussive workout somewhere between Monolake and Shackleton & Pinch?s collaboration with the first cut ?Sand?, before he unleashes the brooding ?Flux? which sports a nasty modulated squelching bassline and the same off-kilter dubstep-feel. DNP and EAT are definitely back ? with a bang!
