I Fall Asleep So Fast Pitou EP edition

Amsterdam-born singer Pitou is armed with one of the most arresting voices to emerge in recent times, she has drawn comparisons with the likes of Laura Marling and Julia Holter.

This album is the follow up to her 2016 self-titled debut EP, described by the Independent as "Intelligent folk-pop that balances the darkness and light of human emotion."

From the age of 9, Pitou sang in a children's choir. She performed at the baptism of Catharina-Amalia, the Princess of the Netherlands, singing the St Matthew Passion - a piece of music she described as making her feel like "someone is trying to pull ears out of your eyes".

At eighteen she discovered pop, rock and the guitar - the songs came quickly, and in 2016 she released her first EP whilst at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam, made an appearance on Dutch television and played gigs throughout the Netherlands, including showcase festival Noorderslag.
