Bill Mays & Red Mitchell
Bill Mays was a friend of Tom Garvin who was my first artist and connection to the LA jazz scene. Bill asked if I would be interested in funding a recording of Red Mitchell and Bill, that would take place at the world renown saloon and jazz club, Bradley's, in NYC. Bob Meagher, who was the bartender, and I agreed and so the album was recorded inside Bradley's after hours in 1983 and 1984.
