We are all Demons

Gothminister

With a career spanning more than 26 years, eight studio albums and performances in over 40 countries, Gothminister has established itself as one of the most recognizable names in gothic and industrial metal. Now, mastermind Bjørn Alexander Brem presents "We Are All Demons," the project's most personal and uncompromising release to date.

For the first time in Gothminister’s history, the entire album has been recorded, produced, mixed and mastered solely by Brem, allowing him to fully realize the dark and powerful sound he has envisioned throughout his career. The result is an 11-track journey that explores the darkness hidden within us all, confronting themes of fear, inner conflict and personal transformation.

Musically, "We Are All Demons" blends the band's signature gothic industrial metal sound with contemporary electronic influences. Crushing guitar riffs, thunderous percussion and aggressive synth-driven soundscapes are complemented by a dynamic vocal approach that ranges from harsh, commanding performances to soaring operatic passages, female vocal duets and dramatic choral arrangements.

At its core, the album is both a descent into darkness and a celebration of resilience. Through its cinematic atmosphere and ambitious thematic scope, "We Are All Demons" encourages listeners to face their inner demons, find strength within adversity and emerge stronger on the other side. Dark, immersive and unapologetically grand, the album stands as a defining statement from one of the gothic industrial genre’s most enduring and influential acts.
