Anthem; as defined in Webster's eleventh standard edition, is as follows; "" A High Energy Rock Experience"". A California band tried and true; Anthem has become one of Rock's top emerging forces. The live spectacle, The raw Emotion, The never ending source of true rock and roll bliss.......... they have it all. Indeed, "We want to be the first band on the moon" says one lead singer-guitarist Terry Coleman, as he smirks gazing off into the distance. Anthem is truly capable of taking over the world one stage at a time, one world at a time. Anthem is being referred to as "Rock Revolutionaries" and "a high energy rock experience" by the newspapers, magazines, and rock critics. Call it Rock, Psychedelic Acid Pop, Power Pop Alternative, Groove Rock, California Rock....... Please, call it what you will, yet they have a sound and look all their own. Led by the likes of Irish-Brit frontman Terry Coleman on lead guitar and lead vocals, with the animalistic Australian Dustin Carpenter on the drums, and the ever-so steady groove maistro John Montes on the bass....... Anthem's sole agenda is to "Bring Back The Rock". Anthem' s high-energy performance has become one of California's "Must See" live events. They have already shared the stage with over fifteen national touring acts including Dishwalla,, Avril Lavign, The Calling, Gin Blossoms, Remy Zero, Collective Soul, just to name a few, and have performed in front of thousands on numerous occasions live, and over the radio. Coleman, former lead vocalist for" Hollopoynt", was nominated for three Modesto Area Music Awards for best rock/pop performer and is also an acclaimed ASCAP/BMI affiliated songwriter with roots embedded into the Nashville Music Hall of Fame. Anthem's latest single is currently enjoying radio airplay from Clear Channel and College stations. They were recently nominated for a M.A.M.A. award in the main category for "best rock band" and also made an appearance on the television show ""Good Morning Sacramento". Anthem's latest self titled full length CD was produced by Smash Mouth keyboardist Michael Klooster and their critically acclaimed full length debut disc "Electric Gypsy" is available in stores nationwide. They also just won the Ohlone College Rock the Hill Battle of the Bands competition in Fremont where they beat out over thirty Bay Area bands.
