The album's ten songs, written over six decades in the 20th century, are given new life through Eva Cassidy's unique interpretations, transforming familiar classics into a very special listening experience.

Eva Cassidy's extraordinary vocals are complemented by four new, impressive orchestral arrangements created by composer Christopher Willis. On "It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)", "Blue Skies", "Cheek To Cheek" and "At Last", the listener is transported directly back to the golden age of American vocal jazz. Inspired by Frank Sinatra's heyday in the 1950s and 1960s, Willis' arrangements elegantly draw on the playful and energetic style of arrangers such as Nelson Riddle and Billy May. On "You've Changed" and "Ain't No Sunshine", a more emotional side emerges with beautiful orchestrations inspired by Gordon Jenkins and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.
