Framed

Richard Wallace directs this 1940s crime drama starring Glenn Ford and Janis Carter. While on a temporary truck driving job, mining engineer Mike (Ford)'s brakes fail and he's able to safely guide the truck into the nearest town with only minimal damage to one other car. Unfortunately, this minor accident leads to Mike running into the elusive Paula (Carter), who is only too happy to help out with Mike's problems, yet seems to be hiding an ulterior motive behind her altruistic actions.
