Ark of the Chimeron

The U3F squadron, comprised of the genetically altered Chimeron and mechanically engineered Bio-Nan, limped away from the wreckage of the battle of the Mariana Trench. Despite the Darkling's master plan being circumvented, the aftermath of the skirmish is still a considerable blow to the world. Entrapped in an unbreakable prison, Kill Switch still continues to implement his terrible will through a virus dubbed Medusa's Gaze. This chemical reaction proliferated across the Eastern Pacific Ocean, changing whatever it touched into solid steel. Further, invasive extra-terrestrials continued to run amuck, wreaking havoc in their wake. As the squad continues to face the ever-worsening odds, who will replace their leaders that fell at Challenger's Deep? Will Clemér continue to rise to the occasion? Or will the cadets have to count on a strange newcomer to lead them to victory? As the world gasps what could be its final breath, the Chimeron and Bio-Nan still cling to whatever vestiges of hope they can find. The fight for survival has just begun.
