Twin brothers, Ian and Alex Tucker, uncover the raw complexities of these capabilities in their efforts to understand the life's work of their late grandfather, George. Along with Ian's girlfriend, Simone, and G. R. A. M. P. S., an A. I. designed to help guide them, they embark on their journey to flesh out the potential of the advanced technology. Like his grandfather before him, Alex is a technological genius and the only person to whom George could entrust, or could even understand, his legacy. Ian and Simone act as moral thought leaders to ensure that they remain true to George's intentions. In keeping with the wishes of their grandfather, they use his journals to help find people the answers that are otherwise lost, find closure to otherwise open wounds, and bring down evil that is otherwise hidden. They soon discover that these efforts are only half of the battle, as the consequences of their actions have a price that they hadn't anticipated.
