Properties of Bamboo Fibre: Influence of Aspect Ratio

The acceptability of an engineering material largely depends on the ease with which sits behaviour can be predicted under a given loading and working conditions. These predictions can be done based on thorough and extensive investigation of the micro-structural and mechanical response of the material. With the increased interest in plant fibre reinforced plastics, it becomes necessary to understand the influence of aspect ration on the mechanical properties of these composites.
