This book focuses on the issue of corporate governance in Chinese listed companies. Firstly, this book introduces the background of the Chinese stock market and reviews previous works, which are related to this topic. Then, it empirically evaluates the effect of corporate governance mechanism on firm performance in Chinese listed companies. After that, this book assesses the problem of information leakage in the Chinese stock market, and how the corporate governance mechanism influence such problem in the Chinese stock market.
