Identity in Contemporary Black Jewish Fiction is a title which raises different reactions. On the one hand, the reader might ask him- /herself is there such a thing as Black-Jewish fiction and on the other hand, the problems which the title implies are acknowledged. These difficulties in the Black-Jewish relationship are going to be evaluated in this book.
