Over the past few decades, there has been a significant shift in the design of office workspaces and buildings. The primary reason for this dramatic change is the introduction of the computer onto the personal workstation, and the evolution of office work. Our indoor office workers face an assortment of physical, physiological, and psychological concerns: chronic sitting, indoor air quality, high visual demands, stress, noise, lighting, temperature, pace, and deadlines, just to name a few. And depending on the exposure levels, it can place them at a risk of serious injuries, chronic illnesses, and lower performance.
