Jesus' death and resurrection are sacred and essential Christian doctrines, yet Easter baskets and its annual reoccurrence dilute its message. Easter weekend passes, and we feel we missed something important. We need a fresh approach to wake our souls. This Bible study guides us for eight weeks in preparation of Easter. The three-dimensional study engages our minds, bodies and spirits. We use our minds to glean eye-opening Biblical principles. Meditating on the principles gives the Holy Spirit fuel for igniting our spirits to a deeper understanding, melting our hearts. Intentions, an activity we choose to give up or take up during the study, involve the body in daily living as a continual reminder of our quest to appreciate God's greatest work of love. The study may be used as a companion to the devotional, Running to the Empty Tomb: Finding the Joy of Easter, or used alone.
