Luther Holmes is content. Not happy with his life, but content enough to keep moving forward. Every since the mass endangerment of dragonkind, he'd been paired with a mate who was... well, nice enough. What they felt for each other wasn't love, but love wasn't frowned upon in this new world. He at least expected his alpha to care enough to keep him safe. However, the omega finds out just how wrong he is when he's shipped off to the district's breeding facility. Existing for the sole intent of perpetuating the existence of their people at any cost, the breeding facility is just short of a death sentence. Perhaps death would even be kinder.
