The Wings of Legend

Starting life on Kasci as one of the privileged Eroubi house of Kaden, Viritara Ascends, gaining the gems of her branch of the family and goes on a search for her true mate. In the northern reaches, she rescues one of the Sky Clans, a winged Skirsae named Kentor, from slavery. Using her unconsummated Gift, she heals his severed wings, risking burning out her Gift to help the man. Finding a longing in her to possess wings of her own, she finds that there is more to appeal to her in the Skirsae warrior than she would ever have thought. Choosing him as her mate and her husband begins the start of her journey into legend, her Flight the first to ever form with an Istra of her skill at its head. Healing is her nature, but even that is tested to the extreme as she helps those who only dreamed to fly, including herself.
