In 1980, three friends begin their life's journey with a common ethos-to save America. They deliver covert advanced weapons systems to mujahideen fighting in Afghanistan, smuggle drugs to support the Contras in Central America, and they defend American industry against environmental regulations.

In the morning hours of August 11, 2020, on a park bench in Austin, Texas, the aging and ailing protagonist, Christopher LeBlanc, wrestling with the dysfunction of tribal ethos in today's America, slips back into their entangled odyssey through a process that defies our current understanding of both space and time.

His is an experience only imagined through the lenses of quantum physics and alchemy, taking him to places in beyond-space-time where he confronts the ghosts of his past and stares into the dark eyes of the future.
