An escapee from a secret government facility becomes a headache for Mayor, Martin Black, who is trying to maintain order within the city and keep his secrets covered. The escapee wants out of the city, but also knows the truth to his identity is hidden somewhere within Copperline.

Martin knows that he is walking on thin ice with an unworldly entity that is growing in his basement, yet the more he learns about the escapee, he discovers the many similarities between the two of them.

Will the escapee learn the truth and overtake the city's supervillain, or will the mayor steamroll even the people closest to him all to keep his secrets hidden from the world?





Peter Michael Talbot is a pastor and teacher who started writing novels as a promise to his students. Talbot enjoys writing about spiritual truths that transcend religious ideologies. He likes to think of them as modern-day parables. Peter and his wife, Bethany reside in Maine with their three boys (one on the way).
