What comes to mind when you see a feather floating in the air? Do you wonder where it came from and what type of bird it was? While those answers may not come, there is evidence in scripture for the uses of those light, soft bird coverings!

Wings: A Purpose for Everything Under the Sun is written about the hen's presence in the Holy Bible. Her wings and feathers are stated as "protection" for her baby chicks. That protection is safe and secure, just like what God provides for His people!
