JESUS, My Heavenly King!

Sometimes when we look at all the trappings this life promises will make us happy; we often feel ashamed when we realize it was only fool's gold. The world displays the 'good' life, one that is free of personal responsibility, coupled with a 'do what feels good' attitude. JESUS offers us security as citizens of His Kingdom. The world's system has laced all manners of division and classism designed to divide people...to make them feel less than their superiors. In JESUS'S Kingdom, there is no status (Galatians 3:28). All believers are one in CHRIST. Being a member of The Body of CHRIST shields us from racism, classism, and spiritual bondage. With JESUS as our Heavenly King, we can trust in a leader who rules according to truth and is clothed in righteousness (Job 29:14; Isaiah 61:10).
