Esmos was once a beautiful land, its people lived in harmony and all where welcome, until the death of King Erwin the First and his Eldest son, leaving his youngest son the rule. His youngest son Erwin II rules with an iron fist nearing exterminating the race he deems responsible for his father and brother's death while secretly knowing the truth. Nearly was a very big mistake. Nahan is the leader of the Nipawin people, he is young but wise and the most skilled hunter of the tribe. He has earned his place as chief, but when he is faced with the safety of his tribe and the love of his life he must make a choice to trust a man he can not trust, or risk it all for love. Andrew Brady must play both sides of the coin as loyal servant and leader of the rebellion. He knows loss and know if he fails the world of Esmos will surly fall and all his efforts will be for not. However, all are blinded by a true evil, and ancient evil that has laid dormant, waiting to strike even since Erwin II took the throne.
