Through My Father's Eyes

Through My Father's Eyes is poetry written from the viewpoint of the author's father, and some of his significant life experiences. These experiences include growing up in Rotterdam, Nederland during WWII, and a near fatal car accident his son was involved in.




Each new poem written was a milestone in bringing the relationship between father and son closer as they grew older, and into the father's last days.




This books has many of the poems that touched his father's heart, brought back difficult memories as well as bringing joy and laughter. This collection not only opened up communication between father and son, but was also a way that his father could finally let go of the past.
