Smallhead and the Horrible Hag of Hollowdale

Everyone in the dusty village calls her Smallhead because they think that she is nothing more than a silly girl with her head in the clouds. They are right. She is constantly day-dreaming of fairies and magic, but Smallhead is far more clever than anyone thinks. With a razor-sharp wit, she gets out of trouble just as often as she seems to fall into it.

After a tragedy, Smallhead's two sisters run away from home, dead set on reaching the Ivory Castle. When her troublesome sisters need saving, Smallhead sets out to rescue them with her new magical cat companion who, frankly, couldn't care less.

The trail leads her to where none have ever returned: a forest filled with hangry fairies. Beyond that is the dark land of Hollowdale, which is claimed by an evil hag, her hoard of a thousand things, and her sinister plots!

Smallhead soon finds herself in over her head in this whimsical retelling of the Irish folktale, "Smallhead and the King's Sons."
