Enter Kas, a scientist on an Alliance discovery ship. His sole purpose in life is to study rare and unknown species. But with foresight of the looming war, Kas must convince his shipmates to venture to Earth before it's too late. Preserving the human race may be his greatest achievement or cause his untimely death.
