He started his career in television during high school as a studio camera operator at a small TV station in Texas. He soon became a newscast director. Shortly after he finished college, Mark moved to the content side of the TV station, producing two newscasts daily. He worked his way up from very small markets to top 10 markets and along the way became an Executive Producer and a Managing Editor.
