Placing the guilt on his own shoulders, Josh vowed that the one who had wrongfully accused him would pay. The residents of Rivers Run knew him as Sheriff Grant Claymore. The criminal factor referred to him as Hawk, the man who hunted down the criminals and manipulated their lives into do his bidding. Sam Lyle, currently serving time behind bars for burglary, had broken into Hawk's home and stolen a piece of priceless artwork. Then, due to his own stupidity, Sam had managed to get himself arrested, and the stolen goods were locked away in Police Chief Ray Sanchez's office. Hawk's plan to get inside and retrieve what rightfully belonged to him was moving along nicely - until he received word that Joshua Hill was being released from prison, and all charges were dropped.
