Only Seventeen

Monique Love thinks that she understands the world, but that thought is quickly destroyed as she loses her best friend, is kidnapped, and ends up on the run in one night. Her story, unfortunately, is one that unfolds often in a young adult's life. So, as they try new things and reach out to new friends that don't always have the same background, teens sometimes find themselves in situations that they could have never even imagined.
