The world is a nasty piece of work with a core that is as rotten as its teeth sharp. It bites and chews some before spitting them back out and expecting them to survive. Others get swallowed up whole, never to be seen or heard from again. Willow Pickwick, 14, missing. The parents of Willow are always bickering and blaming each other for this, that, and the other. Their peace is going for walks in the hills with their teenage daughter. However, on this particular day, it doesn't turn out to be the pleasant day's walk in the sunshine they expected. Following Willow's sudden disappearance, Travis and Freda learn of deaths of other teenagers in the same area. It seems the killer from a few years ago is back in action. All they hope is that they find Willow before anyone else does. And if she's playing a game with them, she's in a lot of trouble when she gets home. Follow Travis and Freda and their lives after their daughter goes missing. With terrible news of others being cut-up and brutally murdered, their lives no longer feel like their own. It's as if the world was chewing on them and waiting to spit them out.
