Recon opens as AJ, the hero, is practicing martial arts alone in his dojo. Another man, Riko, arrives at AJ's dojo intent on shooting him. The novel jumps back in time to recap why the shooting took place. A gang of drug dealers kidnap a chemist and his daughter. The police are called, but the two detectives given the case are dirty cops who have been protecting the drug dealers for kickbacks. Riko was the drug lord, but the two detectives made sure he went to prison so that a new dealer, Crawford, can take over the city. However, Crawford has other ideas than paying two dirty cops. After Riko is released from prison, Crawford and his gang go into hiding and the detectives have no leads on their location. Enter AJ, an ex-military special forces operative and martial arts expert, called in to undertake the recon mission to find Crawford. As Riko tries to take back what he lost, AJ faces deadly threats from all directions in the exciting drama Recon. About the Author Raymond A.
