Locked inside the tiny, dark bathroom, Harriet started to slip into a deep sleep, remembering what it was like before the war had taken her parents and Grandpa Pickles away - separating her from her brothers and sisters. When she awoke the next morning, her seven year-old mischievous and stubborn little mind concocted the most devilish plan she had ever had! She would get even with the evil cottage mother, Miss Willet, with the help of her brother, Charlie and her pals at the children's home. But was Harriet, who imagined herself a small, World War II soldier, brave enough to handle what was to come?
