To those who understand, no explanation is necessary. To those who do not, no explanation will suffice. This book is for those who have loved and lost. If you have ever lost someone close to you, then this book is written with you in mind. The desire of the author is that her words may somehow give comfort and understanding to those who have suffered this devastation. If you know someone who has suffered a great loss, you may find some understanding in this book that will help you to comfort and minister to them. The words written in this book are not counsel, but the lamentations of a mother who deeply loved her son. Monica Everett was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana when she was six years old and then to South Florida when she was thirteen. She now resides in the historic town of Jonesboro, Georgia. She is the mother of three beautiful sons, the two oldest are adults and the youngest was tragically taken at the tender age of 13. Her husband of 26 years, Brooks, works as a pastor on staff at Community Bible Church in Stockbridge, Georgia. Monica enjoys the travel involved in her job as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines. Among her hobbies are journaling, music, the arts and tending to the flowers in her garden at their c.1821 plantation home.
