Careful, you might get what you've always wanted Meet Fenton Carmody who got everything he ever thought he wanted: a pretty wife, a job as a small college basketball coach, a Victorian house in a small Minnesota town. Now he's not so sure. He can't keep his wife and loses his child. His professional path is approaching a dead end; he drinks too much beer for his own good and the college's new dean is looking for reasons to fire him. To find his way, he consorts with an iconoclastic barber, a retired sculptress, a quirky team, a beautiful woman who owns a mysterious past, a widow on crutches, and an adopted stray dog. Then he encounters the challenge of resolving a rocky relationship with his father who unexpectedly arrives in town for an indefinite stay.
