From Dan to Daddy Daniel Mays

In 2010, I became a father for the first time, following the birth of my daughter. Then in early 2013, my son was born. Two memorable moments that will live with me for the rest of my life. What was to follow could never have been expected, with me finding myself embroiled in an acrimonious and loveless marriage. The previous three years of my marriage life resulted in an arrest for a serious indictable offence, and bailed during an in-depth police investigation. Next came our divorce for unreasonable behaviour and irreconcilable differences, before, finally, civil court proceedings followed. Will honesty, consistency and the ability to engage with the professional agencies prevail, or will this journey see my life effectively destroyed, all before I reach the age of 31?
