You would think that growing up in a small, rural Idaho town would be boring and mundane. But it wasn't that way at all and I'm still trying to figure out why. The story starts when Dad uprooted our family, moved us off the farm, across the state and into a small town that most would consider to be a million miles from nowhere. Fitting in to this close-knit community where everybody seemed to be related proved to be difficult, especially when you've got an odd dad and live in a ramshackle house. Pushing back against the rules and culture or Dragging the Line is part of growing up and seemed to be tolerated in this community. While push-back can take many forms, I enjoyed pranking the establishment in any way I could. As time goes by the pranks escalated in scope and began to cross the line as to what was tolerated in the community. Consequences escalated, too.
