Assignment Barb Hartwig

Her God-given passion to bring Christ focused community health care to women and children propelled Barb Hartwig into a life of adventure, but more importantly, a life of trusting God. Liberia was her first missionary nurse assignment. Due to civil instability, she transferred to Ghana where she pioneered a community health program for others to emulate. Those years of previous service enabled her to design and start a training program, in South Sudan, for clinic and community health workers plus traditional midwife training. His guardian angels were present during a complex detention at a border situation, a dodging bullets scenario, an armed robbery and a plane crash. Barb's experiences and predicaments during 30 years of gospel ministry will inspire others to keep on trusting God no matter what. The Bible tells us to forget not all His benefits. This is her testimony to God's faithfulness in the life of an ordinary person.
