"Memory Traces" is a collection of poems about accepting yourself as you are, and about understanding what an enormous challenge it is to dare to set foot on the path to self-discovery. Having memory traces, acknowledging them and following the train of thought through to the end denotes grappling with your own emotions. Mind and feelings are inseparable and can become healing companions in anyone's life, provided always that you allow this to happen. Appreciating the spiritual closeness between people, understanding them and ultimately embracing them carries a precious enthralment, and a special magic is inherent in true, authentic and sincere closeness between people. These poems endeavour to describe the power of spiritual closeness, to illuminate it and to make it tangible.
