Second book in a trilogy. In this journey of Sir Winston T. Willy Tittles, first told in "A Journey to the World Within," we find a journey within ourselves - within our own world - a fight between the forces of evil and the forces of good. At times these forces may blur in their purpose, but in the end, we find the truth always sheds light on how to determine the truly good from the truly evil. We have left the world of The One, a world where all things of goodness were consumed - color stolen - sweetness turned into maniacal power - and the far reach of The One where liberty and respect of the law is mocked and stolen and chastised. And so the journey continues as what was once thought to be a return home has become a rude awakening that reality changes once again without any hint of resolution. We get to taste the abuse of power and the abuse of others in a different form of tyranny - whether the exploitation of the power to control others is wielded by the State or by business or enterprise, there is little change in the outcome on the people. Lies told by either my be of a different story, but the ending is no less painful for those who believe in those lies. Words can be redefined to suit the venture of tyranny, but the meanings of the lies are always at the cost of humanity and of the individual. Whether the greed is for power to control thought or to control the quantitative wealth of enterprise, there is no difference in greed stripped of its robes of purpose and message.
