Passages Judy Martell

I have been writing poems of passage for a number of years, inspired by my own aging and by my experiences living in the woods among natural cycles of birth and death. When I learned of my own impending passage, I began pulling together my writing from the past. I took a month to myself in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with some unfinished ideas for poems, where I worked to bring both old and new together in this collection. It is my way of living within this new context, and also moving through and beyond the confines of time.
