There's a Rabbit on the Roof! Second Edition

Backlit by the early morning sun, the silhouette of a creature with long ears appeared on the roof of the neighbor's garage. "How did a rabbit get up on that roof?" I puzzled. This case of misidentification led directly to the creation of the title song, "There's a Rabbit on the Roof!" in this collection of lyrics, poems and songs, originally published in 2007. The book's wide appeal has something for virtually all ages. Each song or poem has been given an expanded introduction describing the real-life circumstances which gave it birth. For those entries written by others, a short, updated biography now precedes the poems. The 2nd edition has been expanded to include six new entries. The book has been newly formatted and colorized, and internet links to expanded options for enjoyment have been provided. In the years since its initial release, seven of the ten original entries and five of the new entries have been given an online 'life' in the form of free audiovisual components. This free online presence is a great resource for parents, teachers and libraries looking for ways to hear the songs, and involve children and adults (separately or together) in fun, entertaining, sing-along group-participation events.
