NICKI NICE'S BULLY is a narrative of a frightening classmate who is a mean bully as, perhaps, your child has experienced. Nicki, the main character, does not understand why this classmate acts this way. She does, wisely, seek the advice of her teacher and a school counselor and is provided with clinical reasons why a child will bully others such as herself. Nicki then begins to understand how this unpleasant experience can be changed. The following is an excerpt from this book: "Bullies do not make me feel very nice and make me want to cry and cry and cry! Bullies are mean and ugly inside. Let me tell you about my bully named Billy. Billy really scares me when he comes to school and stares at me with those angry eyes. He shows me his sharp teeth that look just like a monster. Billy pushes me down when no one is looking. I do cry and run away from him as quickly as I can. What am I to do!!
