Mrs. Flossie was the matriarch of the Potts family. She was 4 ft 10 in. of walking talking contradiction. She would take in any stray that came to the door but when she said jump the only reply she wanted was ..." how high." When she ran into financial problems she called on the one person she felt she could trust, Lori. Lori and Mrs. Flossie had a stormy relationship before she left home for a career in the city. Lori felt she owed Mrs. Flossie because she was one of those strays; Mrs. Flossie had taken into her home. The problems turned out to be more than Lori could handle in a few days so her and her family moved back to Johnstown. After two long years, Lori felt she could now go back to the city. Fate stopped that in the form of a major heart attack for Mrs. Flossie. The doctor gave Mrs. Flossie thirty days to live or less. Everything fell on Lori's shoulders. To the shock of a lot of family members Mrs. Flossie decided that after sixty days she was tired of dying so began to take control of the family again with Lori's help. For two weeks you will live with the crazy dysfunctional Potts family, where you will meet the uncle hit by a UFO, the cousin who only liked married women, the woman who wanted to move the well closer to the house by hooking the truck to it and pulling it up the hill, and many other outrages things that are normal for the Potts family. As Mrs. Flossie said,"If laughter is the best medicine, I'll live forever."
