Humans have some strange customs and Christmas is one of them. Even stranger is the custom of giving their kids a puppy for Christmas. Momma dog taught me that when humans are stressed they become anxious, and may have emotional outbursts. "Don't ever react to these outbursts by biting or growling," she warned. "Always sit respectfully and pretend you understand." She taught me this when I was just 8 weeks old. That was a short time before I was taken from her and placed with my new human family. I did not know then that I would never see her again. I also did not know that my Beagle cuteness only went so far with this human family.
