James "PEPPA" Jones, a known Hood Timer in the bloody streets of the notorious "3rd" ward, in the uptown New Orleans, was accustomed to his drug operation being run smoothly. A fair gentle man in a deathly drug game that takes kindness for weakness, he discovers that everything that shines isn't platinum when a few of his main customers who buys kilo's of cocaine from him get executed inboard daylight. As he tries to cope with the murder of his associates while continuing to run his drug operation, Peppa has no idea that his childhood friend Pooh made a secret deal with a crooked N. O. P. D. Captain that could cause both of them their lives. In his quest for answers in a drug world that has more twist that turns Peppa must try to elude the faith that has come to many of the past Hustlers in the Big Easy with out getting Doubled Crossed.
