A few of the poems and essays presented here incorporate the topics of war and reintegration, drawing on the author's experiences in the Vietnam War as a Marine on the front lines. Daryl Eigen had a stellar career as an engineer and executive in high tech communications. After retirement Daryl returned to his first love of writing. He is author of the well-received war memoir "A Hellish Place of Angels" that documented his time as a combat Marine in Vietnam.
