Publisher Marketing: Why do I publish a third book of PoextS? Why do I think anyone would care to read my PoextS? Well... I am constantly told that the words I put together resonate with others. "You say what I think..." "You say what I feel..." No matter in their 20's, 30's or even 50's or 60's, I am told that the words I write ring true. Is this my gift...to open and share? Possibly. I have been writing PoextS for three years and will continue until... I run out? We shall see. I began writing PoextS as part therapy...part self-realization...part terror... PoextS are 8 lined poems which are written on my phone, in the moment, and then promptly texted to others. I had experienced a life changing event and was shaken to the bone, as many others have been. I began questioning everything I knew to believe true. I questioned whether to continue on. PoextS are the script for a story of deep despair that many have endured. Through "PoextS Year One," "PoextS Year Two," and now "PoextS Year Three," we finally begin to see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. PoextS are a journey. Sometimes dark. Sometimes light. But always true... May some of these words comfort you...in that another has felt such lows as you may have, and moved through these feelings to once again...feel joy!
