Fanatical rock devotee Maggie has immersed herself in the local Nashville music scene since her teens. She and her musician friends pursue their ambitions, searching for how they fit into that world. It?s not quite as easy as assumed, Maggie discovers. Being a part of the music world- performer, producer, or booker- everyone has dues to pay and not everyone gets to be a rockstar. And yet they continue chasing their dreams to the next gig, the next year, in hopes of finding the elusive Something. But when tragedy strikes one of their own, Maggie and company are left reeling in its aftermath. Questioning their roles and places in that universe, they turn to their usual comfort: rock-n-roll. It is Maggie?s combination of sorrow and joy that pushes her through inertia. But only when Maggie decides to take the plunge and follow her true passion does she finally land on solid rock.
