About the Author


Jill Smart has taught children for 28 years in Michigan, Iowa, and Kansas. She has instructed in fields of Secondary Science and Health. A life-long and driven learner herself, she earned a Master of Arts in Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2012 from Spring Arbor University.
Compassionate and goal-oriented, Jill believes anything is achievable if you put forth the effort and recognize the consequences of your actions. You are responsible for your destiny! As an author and a teacher, it is her mission to convey this message to young minds.


In addition to education, Jill is also passionate about reading, nature, and random acts of kindness. She has been married to her best friend, Don, for 25 years. The couple has two daughters and recently adopted an Australian Shepherd rescue.
