This story is about a tribe in Mali, West Africa, who are called the Dugongs. They have information about a star that is called Sirius, which can not be seen with the naked eye. The story was made public in the 1930s by two French anthropologists. What makes the story most interesting is this: scientists now call the star Sirius B and it was not photographed until it was done by a large telescope in 1970.
