Jesus, We Need To Talk
Ruben Cornelius
What does it take to be a real Christian? Must you embrace a literal, and often rigid, interpretation of the Bible, or can you embrace the teachings of Christ in your own unique way? In Jesus, We Need to Talk, author and devoted Christian Ruben Cornelius shares his beliefs about maintaining our integrity and individuality in the way we approach religion, while never losing sight of our commitment to the teachings of Christ. It is the author's conviction that the word of God, as printed in the Bible, is open to many interpretations and that each of us is free to embrace that which resonates in our hearts. Turning away from the traditional interpretations does not diminish your passion; in truth, it can make your Christianity suitable for you. In this journey to uncover the Gospel truth, Cornelius opens the door to a light rarely seen: acceptance of our individuality, while he explores many important questions regarding the Bible, organized religion, and our place in Christian life.
